Novak Djokovic went to an all new level during the last Wimbledon final after showing an incredible mental and physical strength facing Roger Federer and a rather “hostile” crowd.
How did he do it? The Serbian sensation is well known for putting a lot of emphasis on his internal well-being and even if he is something criticized about that, no one can argue that it’s not working wonders for him.
How Djokovic likes to train
Nole loves feeling “planet Earth” and its energy, and therefore, he prefers to stay in contact with nature instead of being “reclused” in the gym.
Gebhard Phil-Gritsch, Novak’s former conditioning coach during an interview revealed:
“It’s interesting that Novak doesn’t like to work out in the gym, but wants to be outside all the time, preferably in nature.
If he needs to strengthen his upper body, he rides a canoe. He also likes to run barefoot, to feel the ground at his feet, and not to ride a bicycle in the gym. He does his best to come into contact with the power that psychologists, and even Novak himself, call universal energy.”
