Pepe Imaz and DJokovic together again

Novak Djokovic is having another fantastic season.

The world no.1 has just won an amazing title in Wimbledon where he defeated an in-form Roger Federer in one of the most dramatic matches in tennis history. The Serbian sensation was completely spent after the battle also because besides beating the great Swiss he had almost the entire crowd against him. It was reported that Djokovic was so tired that he didn’t feel dancing with Simona Halep during the Wimbledon Champions’ Dinner Party.

After the Championships, Nole got some time off with his wife Jelena whose absence from every match of his husband in Wimbledon raised questions about their marriage. Eventually, everything looked okay with Jelena, and after their break, Djokovic decided to head to Marbella to prepare for the American summer where he will have to face (again) the competition of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal that are in supreme form.

Why is Djokovic in Marbella?

The Spanish city is one of Djokovic’s favorite places where he is also well-known to frequent the controversial tennis coach and “love guru” Pepe Imaz.

In the video and picture at the end of the article, it is clear that Nole is back to train at the Puente Romano Tennis School that is the Academy run by Imaz.

Novak announced that he will not play the upcoming Rogers Cup in Montreal to probably get back on tour in Cincinnati.

Marian Vajda’s position

Novak’s coach has always professed his discomfort of having Pepe Imaz in Djokovic’s team and according to reports, the condition of his comeback was that the Spanish had to be out.

Vajda already said that he won’t stay with Djokovic during the US Open Series because of the upcoming birth of her granddaughter… officially.
