Raonic qualifies for the semifinal in London

Milos Raonic joins Novak Djokovic in the semifinals after he defeats Dominic Thiem 7-6 (5) 6-3 in the third match of the round robin.

 The Canadian had a great day on his serve not to conceded a single break in the entire match with very comfortable holds. This allowed Raonic to conquer the first set at the breaker, and to win the second after breaking Thiem twice in the first and in the last game.

Milos conceded that the end of the first as the most important part of the match

“I got fortunate at the end of the first set there to hit three aces. That helped me out and saved me in a lot of important moments today. I stuck with my weapons and I stuck with what I know how to do best, and I was fortunate to get through today. It wasn’t a round-robin match; it was a quarter-final for the both of us, and I’m fortunate I was able to win it.”
