TOO WEIRD. Murray finally beats a top5 after 6 months!

Andy Murray is the deserving world no.1, but interesting enough till yesterday (when he defeated Nishikori), the Brit hasn’t beaten a top5 player since the middle of May!

How is this possible?

Andy’s path hasn’t crossed with any top5 since playing Djokovic in May in the Roland Garros final, and his latest win against a top5 was in the semi-final of the same tournament when he defeated Wawrinka 6-4 6-2 4-6 6-2.

Murray was meant to play Raonic in the Paris semifinal, but the Canadian had to retire.
