BALL ABUSE. Djokovic goes ballistic against journalist

Even if Novak Djokovic keeps on searching for inner peace, he is still losing it on court.

After dropping the opener against Dominic Thiem in London, the world no.2 threw a ball in the direction of his team which bounced into the crowd. This episode reminded a bit the same event that Novak had this year at the Roland Garros when he smashed his racket on the ground that fell very close to a linesperson.

WHY Djokovic lost it

During the post-match press conference, a journalist asked Novak if he was worried that sooner or later this kind of behavior will cost him a match. The Serbian wasn’t happy with the question to reply

“You guys are unbelievable. You’re always picking this kind of things. I’m the only player that shows his frustration on the court? That’s what you are saying?

Do I keep doing these things? I’m close [to being suspended]? I’m still not suspended, so if I’m not close, I’m not close,” he said. It could have been [serious], yes. It could have snowed in O2 Arena as well, but it didn’t. It is not an issue for me. It’s not the first time I did it.”
