Roger Federer is enjoying a great time after he played the longest final in Wimbledon. He must be physically and mentally exhausted and it was a much-needed break. Federer loves eastern Switzerland and he is back there to be on the top of his energy level again.

Federer hiked in the Alpstein and had a trip to the open-air swimming pool of Appenzell.
Reto Inauen, the former Innerrhoder Councilor met Roger Federer on his vacation and informed:
“He is travelling with his family with the camper, they were hiking in the Alpstein and swimming in Badi in Appenzell.”
Reto added that Roger looked very relaxed on the trip.

A local reporter said: “People did not even recognize him at the beginning, only when some wanted to take pictures with him, it became clear who is there.”
Roger shares a special bond with his country and loves to spend time there especially in eastern Switzerland. It was not for the first time that the Swiss maestro visited Hohen Kasten in eastern Switzerland. He was there back in 2016.
