Federer, Kyrgios, Becker celebrate Murray world no.1

Andy Murray will be the deserving world no.1 starting from Monday following his tournament in Paris where he is currently in the final.

This was a long due achievement for such a talented player, and the tennis community congratulates the Brit.

Federer

Roger has been at the top of the rankings for 302 weeks (that’s the current record); the Swiss tweeted

“We have a new king in town. Congrats Sir @andy_murray

Kyrgios

Nick has a great relationship with Andy as the Brit has defended him numerous times during the last few years.

Nick tweeted “@andy_murray u the man.”

Becker

Djokovic’s coach, Boris Becker, had to admit defeat to also congratulate Andy to tweet

“Congrats @andy_murray for becoming the new #1 @ATPWorldTour ! Welcome to a very small club of members being the best in their profession…”

Roger, Nick, and Boris were not the only ones to congratulate. Here some other posts on Twitter.
