Nick Kyrgios received a ban of 8 weeks after he refused to compete in his match against Misha Zverev in Shanghai (he was defeated 6-3 6-1).
As per the ATP statement, the ban could have been reduced to 3 weeks if the Australian agreed to see a psychologist.
According to the ATP, Kyrgios has “taken up the care plan on offer” but details are “strictly confidential.”
This means that the ban has bee reduced to 3 weeks and Kyrgios could play from the 7th of November. Unfortunately, there are no tournaments from that date on the main tour with the exception of the World Tour Finals that he will not be able to play.
Good news for Nick, hoping that he really cares.
