The Greek siblings faced a daunting challenge in their doubles match against Christian Harrison and Evan King. After losing the first set 4-6, they found themselves trailing 1-5 in the second-set tie-break. With their backs against the wall, the brothers displayed incredible grit, saving double match points and eventually clinching the tie-break 9-7.
The deciding match tie-break was equally intense, with the Tsitsipas duo overcoming a brief setback to secure a 10-8 victory. Their remarkable comeback not only advanced them to the second round but also marked their fourth consecutive year reaching this stage at the Monte-Carlo Masters.
