Great stuff from Juan Martin Del Potro that conquers the title in Stockholm. The last time that the Argentine won a tournament was almost three years ago in January 20014 (Sydney).

The most important part of the final was the last stint of the opener and the beginning of the second set when Del Potro won 5 consecutive games (from 4-5 to 7-5 2-0). Then the Argentine had just to cruise during the second set.

After the match, Juan Martin commented

“This means something very big to me.  After two years with many problems with my wrist, coming back and playing at this level and winning another trophy at this unbelievable tournament is great. I’m so happy to win the final and show my best tennis.

The conditions are good for me to play and I beat all the guys in two sets and played really good during the whole tournament.”

Del Potro conceded just 9 points during his service games, and according to Sock, this was a key factor. The American commented
