What a day for Svetlana Kuznetsova!

The Russian demolishes Daria Gavrilova in the Moscow final to clinch her 17^th career title and get a “last minute’s” ticket for the Singapore finals.

The match against Gavrilova was surprisingly easy with the Australian unable to rise to the occasion. Daria was completely unable to cope with her nerves to constantly cry during the changeovers. Eventually, the Russian won the final 6-2 6-1

Svetlana soon after the match had to fly to Singapore where she will face the defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska on Monday 7.30pm local time. This will be Kuznetsova’s 6^th appearance at the WTA finals after 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
