The BMW Open gets to its final. It will be Cilic vs. Kohlschreiber.

The Croat had a very good game with wildcarded Tommy Haas. The German did a couple remarkable upsets to defeat the Tsonga ad Baghdatis in the previous matches.

The key point of the match was Cilic’s service. He blasted 6 aces to win 89% points on his 1st  serve and 88% on the second. Marin did not concede a break point. On the other side Haas lost 4 service games.

“It was my best match of the week,” said Cilic “I played and served extremely well. I believe he didn’t reach deuce on my serve. I waited for my chances on return. Tommy played really well this week and I went into the match with thoughts of that. It made good preparation for everything.”

Kohlschreiber was very happy to reach the final in Munich also thanks to the support of the homecrowd. “It was a tough match for both of us,” admitted Kohlschreiber.”It had a bit of everything for the spectators, so I am super happy.”
