Former world nr.2, Tommy Haas is having a remarkable tournament to defeat Tsonga (seeded nr.1) and now the Baghdatis.
Tommy was particularly good in the first set to win it 6-1 breaking Marcos twice. The second set was a much closer encounter with the German able to succeed in only at the tiebreak.
Haas will play Cilic in the semifinal. The Croat defeated Youzhny in 2h 45m 6-3 6-7(6) 6-3 blasting 11 aces.
On the other side of the draw, Kohlschreiber downed Australian Qualifier Marinko Matosevic 6-0 7-6 (5).
The German will play Feliciano Lopez that defeated Tomic (another Australian!) 6-4 6-2 in less than 1 hour.
