John Isner overcomes Alexander Bublik 7-62 6-3 in the final in Newport on Sunday. This is John’s 4 title in Newport, the first of the year and the 15th of his great career.

1st set.

John conquered the set after recovering from 1 break down. In fact, after dropping his serve in the 11th (5-6) game, Isner broke back in the 12th (6-6) game before winning the set at the following breaker at 2.

2nd set.

The American won the set after he broke the Kazakhstani in the 5th (3-2) and in the 9th (6-3) game. That break resulted decisive for John to conquer the set as he didn’t concede his serve in the rest of the set.

At the end of the match, the American scored 73 points vs. Bublik’s 57 points.
