Grigor Dimitrov used to date Maria Sharapova for a couple of years until they split in the 2015 summer. So, the Bulgarian is aware of what’s going on with his ex-girlfriend.
Maria she will be back in style…
After his recent match in Beijing, Grigor expressed his opinion about Sharapova’s case. According to the Bulgarian, “tennis misses her” and she will be back in style
“As a competitor, she’s just going to come back, and she’s going to be so hungry to play and excited and motivated.”
… but she deserved the ban
Even if Grigor had kind words for Maria, he conceded that she deserved the ban. So he added
“If you do something, I mean obviously there are circumstances. And whoever does something deserves what he gets for sure.”
