Great Jarry conquers his maiden title at the SkiStar Swedish Open

Nicolas Jarry overcomes Juan Ignacio Londero 7-6⁷ 6-4 in the final in Bastad on Sunday.

1^st set.

Jarry overpowered the opposition at the beginning of the set after breaking Ignacio Londero in the 2^nd game (2-0) before consolidating his break and lead 3-0. Notwithstanding, that was not enough for Nicolas to win the set since the Argentine succeeded in breaking back in the 5^th (2-3) game. The Chilean maintained his focus before winning the set at the tiebreak at 7.

2^nd set.

The set was pretty even as both sides managed to hold the serve. The only difference was 1 break that the Chilean conquered in the 7^th game (4-3) before winning the set (6-4).

At the end of the match, Jarry scored 75 points vs. Juan’s 68 points.

The Chilean served pretty well to win 76% of the points (38/50) behind his first serve, and he won 57% points (16/28) on his second serve. Nicolas fired 10 aces and he committed 5 double faults. Nicolas was fantastic in converting all the break points (2/2). On the other side, Juan was sharp when converting 50% of the break points that he conquered points (1/2). However, that was not enough to win the encounter.
