Jarry overpowered the opposition at the beginning of the set after breaking Ignacio Londero in the 2nd game (2-0) before consolidating his break and lead 3-0. Notwithstanding, that was not enough for Nicolas to win the set since the Argentine succeeded in breaking back in the 5th (2-3) game. The Chilean maintained his focus before winning the set at the tiebreak at 7.
2nd set.
The set was pretty even as both sides managed to hold the serve. The only difference was 1 break that the Chilean conquered in the 7th game (4-3) before winning the set (6-4).
At the end of the match, Jarry scored 75 points vs. Juan’s 68 points.
The Chilean served pretty well to win 76% of the points (38/50) behind his first serve, and he won 57% points (16/28) on his second serve. Nicolas fired 10 aces and he committed 5 double faults. Nicolas was fantastic in converting all the break points (2/2). On the other side, Juan was sharp when converting 50% of the break points that he conquered points (1/2). However, that was not enough to win the encounter.

“It is amazing. I am really happy for [winning]. It was a really tough match… Juan Ignacio was playing great. There was a lot of wind and I couldn’t manage to play as well as the other days, but titles, you have to win them as you can and I am really happy to be able to pull this one off.”
