Djokovic likes bad comment on Kyrgios from McEnroe

Novak shows his dislike for the 'bad boy' Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios is famous for his ‘bad boy’ image in the tennis world. He often gets flak for his behaviour on an off the court. Some of the famous tennis personalities have expressed their opinion on the bad behaviour of the world no. 47.

What Kyrgios says about Djokovic

Australian seems to have a special disliking for Novak Djokovic.  He had termed the world no.1 as “cringeworthy” in May and then the following:

“I just feel like he has a sick obsession with wanting to be liked as much as Roger Federer.”

And hours before the start of the epic Wimbledon final between Federer and Djokovic, the Australian asked the Swiss to “smash up” the Serbian.

Kyrgios was equally fuming during this year Queen’s tournament. When asked by the media if he would ever consult Djokovic related to his play, he responded angrily:

“Why would I? What’s he gonna tell me?”

“What would he tell me?

“What do you think he would tell me that I would go there for advice? What would he tell me?”

What Djokovic says about Kyrgios

It was likely that the great Serbian will come up with revenge and he showed it by ‘liking’ an Instagram post (quote) about Kyrgios by the tennis legend, John McEnroe:

“Is he good for the game? Yes he’s good for the game, does he sell tickets? Yes. I can’t handle the fact that he only tries half the time. We can’t support that anymore. I don’t think he should be out there anymore unless he gives an honest effort, that’s my personal opinion.”

He continued:

“The guy would be top five in the world for sure if he was able to do it [give honest effort]. He’s got incredible – this is my opinion – fear of failure. He doesn’t even allow himself to train hard enough to give himself a chance.”

The world no.1 liked this post by McEnroe about the poor attitude of Kyrgios which clearly shows that Djokovic has no liking for the behaviour of the ‘bad boy’ of the tennis world.
