Novak Djokovic is definitely one of the best players in tennis history.
The world no.1 has been dominating for the last few seasons, but he is now struggling to deal with the expectations.
What happened?
After winning the Roland Garros (finally!), the Serb was expected to make history and win a calendar slam. That proved too much for him that crashed out in the 3rd round at Wimbledon, and he lost in the final of the US Open. On the way, the Serbian legend crashed out in the first round of the Olympics against a great Juan Martin Del Potro. Is the magic over? That’s hard to say, but it’s clear that Djokovic is struggling with something that is beyond physical injuries.
I do not want to think about winning titles. DJOKOVIC
During a recent interview, Djokovic commented
“I don’t want to think about winning titles and being the No 1 any more in order to avoid putting pressure on myself. I put too much pressure on myself after winning this year’s Roland Garros, and I didn’t like it,
I always enjoyed tennis and relished the game away from tournaments too, but in the last few months, all the talk about making history has brought too much pressure. It doesn’t mean I no longer want to contribute to the sport, but I also don’t want to keep on playing just for the sake of winning titles.”

NEED TO RETHINK ABOUT THAT |
It`s so difficult to play at that levels. That`s why winning 17 slams is not easy, not even two! BTW it is better for him to detach a bit. The injury is a nice excuse.
