Dominic Thiem is trying to get back to his great levels after a disappointing summer. The Austrian has impressed during the first part of the season when he has managed to win four tournaments, and he reached one final. After this feat, Dominic got a bit flat in the second part of the season. With the exception of the US Open, Thiem hasn’t managed to win three consecutive matches since Stuttgart (June).

Things got a bit better for Thiem in Metz where he has reached the semifinals after beating Gojowczyk (world no.209) and Muller (no.37) in the quarters.

Thiem’s performance was particularly clean against Muller to win the match 6-4 7-6 (5) without conceding a single break point.
