From November 39, 2025, Kuwait will host the inaugural FIP World Cup Pairs, putting the country at the forefront of the professional padel world. The winners of this significant new event for the 2025 season will receive the first-ever title of “FIP World Champion,” 2,000 FIP ranking points, and more than $1 million in total prize money that will be split evenly between the men’s and women’s tournaments. The center court will be located at the esteemed “The Arena Kuwait” in Zahra, which is in the Hawalli Governorate. The “Rafa Nadal Academy” will provide extra playing facilities.

Kuwait became a major player in international padel after the November 2024 Kuwait City Premier Padel P1 event was a huge success. Players praised the superb playing conditions and all facets of the tournament’s organization. Along with hosting the 2024 FIP World Padel Championships Asia-Africa qualifiers in September, Kuwait also staged a successful CUPRA FIP Tour tournament (Rise) in November 2023 and last year’s Kuwait City Premier Padel P1.

Players’ standing in the 2025 FIP Ranking after the Milan P1 competition, which takes place from October 612, 2025, will determine their eligibility for the FIP World Cup Pairs. Players of the same or different nationalities will compete in the main draws, which will include a qualification round and a main draw of 40 female and 48 male pairs. The finalists will receive 1,200 FIP rating points, while the pairs that win the World Cup title in both categories will receive 2,000 points.
