NEWPORT. Superb Sandgren thumps Mannarino in the 2nd round of the Hall of Fame Open

Tennys Sandgren extinguishes Adrian Mannarino 6-4 6-1 in the 2^nd round in Newport on Wednesday after playing a good match to face off with Alexander Bublik in the quarter.

Sandgren won the set after he broke the French Player in the 6^th (4-2) and in the 10^th (6-4) game. The French Player tried to stage a comeback breaking in the 9^th (5-4) game. Yet, Sandgren kept the situation under control before winning the set 6-4.

2^nd set.

The American won the set after he broke Adrian in the 4^th (3-1) and in the 6^th (5-1) game. That break was the key for Tennys to win the set as he didn’t concede his serve in the rest of the set.
