INJURY ALERT. Murray desperate for some rest

Andy Murray was the strongest player in the world during the recent summer, but the Brit is now paying the price after this intense period.

Andy has reached the final at the Roland Garros before winning The Queens, Wimbledon, the Olympics. The world no.2 started to show some signs of fatigue in Cincinnati where he lost in the final against Cilic, and definitely at the US Open where he succumbed to Kei Nishikori. Murray wasn’t mentally solid in the latest Davis Cup tie to bow to Del Potro a 5 hours’ marathon. After losing to the Tower of Tandil, Andy had to play doubles and single. It is now time for him to take a good rest.

I have a sharp pain. MURRAY

After the Davis Cup tie, Andy confessed he is not 100%

“I have a lot of sharp pain in my right quad. I have to go and see what’s up and get some treatment. I need a break. I have played so much tennis; my body needs some rest.”
