“The ATP acknowledges the resolution of Jannik Sinner’s case following the agreement between the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the player, reaffirming the facts as originally established by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).

Critically, WADA has confirmed that Sinner had no intent to violate anti-doping rules and gained no competitive advantage. This case is an important reminder of players’ responsibility to carefully manage the products and treatments they or their entourages use. We welcome the conclusion of this matter.”

Ranked no.1, the Italian played his last match on the 26^th

of January when he defeated world no.2 Alexander Zverev 6-3 7-6(4) 6-3 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 20^th career title.

Currently, during this season the Italian owns a compiled 7-0 record. This year, Sinner clinched 1 title at the Australian Open.
