Angelique is confirmed to be the world no.1 after a fantastic season. Winning the US Open helped her to consolidate her rank to open a good gap between her and Serena,

PLISKOVA

Karolina reached the final at the US Open to break back in the top10 and achieve a world no.6 career high. More to come.

WOZNIACKI

Caroline is climbing back in the rankings after being sidelined for many months by an ankle injury. The Dane reached the US Open semi-final to climb 45 places and be ranked no.29.

KONJUH

The 18-year-old had an amazing run in New York to lose in the quarters by Pliskova. This performance made her climb 40 places in the rankings. She is now world no.52 (career high), and much more to come.
