Roger Federer has lost arguably the most heartbreaking match of his fantastic career after he was unable to convert 2 consecutive match points in the Wimbledon’s final against Novak Djokovic. Roger was leading 8-7 40-15 in the 5th set and before losing 7 consecutive points.
Even if the Swiss Maestro is arguably the best player in tennis history, he is not new to get lost after wasting a match point. Actually, that happened 22 times (3 during a final), and Roger has been experiencing this debacle almost every year.
It’s interesting to notice that that happened only 3 times to Novak Djokovic and 8 to Rafael Nadal.
