Former world No. 1 Serena Williams made a brief but electrifying cameo during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance, impressing fans with her dance moves.
During Lamar’s performance of “Not Like Us” at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Williams appeared on stage in a monochromatic blue outfit, executing the ‘Crip Walk’ with precision. The 23-time Grand Slam champion later shared a clip on X, writing, “Let’s go Super Bowl halftime??! I died a little!”
Lamar’s track, which recently won five Grammys, includes lyrics defending Williams, warning Drake “not to speak on Serena.” Drake has referenced Williams in multiple songs, and the two were rumored to have dated in the early 2010s.
Despite her cameo lasting only seconds, it quickly went viral. World No. 3 Coco Gauff called Williams “iconic,” while the WTA hailed her as “Our Super Bowl MVP.”
