Ana Ivanovic had a pretty lousy year on court to crash out the top30; Ana has rarely won 2 consecutive matches, and she has lost the last five encounters. Eventually, the Serbian beauty decided to retire for this season to recover from a recurring wrist and toe injury.
The communicate
“Unfortunately, due to my recurring wrist injury, I have been advised by my doctor to take some time off the court in order to recover and regain my full strength.
I have also been delaying surgery on my toe, which I broke at the Australian Open in January last year, and this is something that I will need to take care of in the upcoming weeks.
As a result, I am very sad to say that I will not be able to continue the season and play in Asia.”
Some more time at hands to spend with her husband?

Ana is still 28 and she may try to give it another shot to her career. If she was 30 I would be for her retirement, but now it is a bit too early
