Padel is still quite popular in Britain, and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) just announced a big relationship with the Pro Am Padel Tour. The goal of this partnership is to increase youth participation in the sport and accessibility.
In recent years, padela game that blends aspects of squash and tennishas rapidly gained popularity. There are currently 750 courts in Britain, and by the end of 2026, the LTA hopes to have 400,000 padel players annually.
Pro Am Padel Tour founder Oliver Morgan said he was thrilled about the collaboration, saying, “We want to break down barriers and ensure that anyone, regardless of their background or experience level, can enjoy the buzz of the game.”
In 2025, the new project will embark on a new tour, with community-led events and contests held in four major cities. It is anticipated that this collaboration will accelerate padel’s expansion and increase its accessibility for a larger audience.
