Andy Murray and Grigor Dimitrov will play for a place in the US Open quarters.

The head to head

Murray leads Dimitrov 6-3; the Brit is also 4-2 up on hard courts, but the Bulgarian has won their last match in Miami this year (6-7 6-4 6-3).

The coach factor

Dimitrov is finding his best tennis since he is siding with Murray’s former coach Dani Vallverdu. Andy doesn’t feel that this can be a handicap for him as he has already played Berdych (that was coach by Vallerdu) and he won that match.

The Brit commented

“It doesn’t really [matter]. The first time when I played Berdych after I and Dani stopped working together, it was awkward for sure, because he was one of my best friends and the media were trying to make it out like it was a grudge match.”

The favorite

No doubts that the favorite is Andy Murray that may win the match in 4 sets.
