Daniil Medvedev, the Russian powerhouse, has been awarded a wildcard for the Marseille Open. Medvedev, currently ranked 7th in the ATP rankings, is looking to regain his form and confidence after a challenging start to the season. Currently the world no.7, Daniil owns a 2-1 match record in 2025. The Russian is now competing in Rotterdam where he beat the world no.155 Stan Wawrinka 6-7(8) 6-4 6-1.
Daniil Medvedev will square off with the world no.92 Mattia Bellucci in the 2nd round. They have never competed against each other so far in top tournaments.

Now the world no.10, Andrey played his last match on the 1st of February when he capitulated to world no.75 Aleksandar Kovacevic 7-5 6-4 in the semifinal in Montpellier (draw).

He is also scheduled to play in Doha (Qatar ExxonMobil Open) on the 17th of February and Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships) on the 24th of February.
