Carlos Alcaraz has quickly established himself as one of the most promising talents in modern tennis, securing four Grand Slam titles at just 21 years old. With Wimbledon, US Open, and French Open victories to his name, the Spaniard has been tipped as a future all-time great. Despite his recent quarter-final loss to Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open, the world No. 3 remains on course for a stellar career.

Off the court, Alcaraz maintains a positive public image, residing in his hometown of Murcia and actively engaging in philanthropy. He launched the Carlos Alcaraz Garcia Foundation in April last year to support disadvantaged children and also contributed to fundraising efforts following flash floods in Valencia.

However, his personal life has recently become a topic of discussion after Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios made a lighthearted remark about Alcaraz’s interests beyond tennis. During an appearance on the Get Set Tennis podcast, Kyrgios was asked to describe several players in one word. When questioned about Alcaraz, he responded: “He loves females, so females.”

The comment follows an earlier interview in which Alcaraz was asked to name his hypothetical future wife. During a conversation with internet personality Daniel Fernandez, he was placed in an amusing scenario: “I want to imagine that you’re married in 2037 at Wimbledon, about to become the greatest tennis player in history. You look to the stands, you see a woman, do you have kids? How many do you have?”

Caught off guard, Alcaraz hesitated before responding: “What’s my wife’s name? I’m not sure? I will say Maria.” The remark sparked speculation, particularly as he had been previously linked to María Gonzalez Gimenez. However, despite acknowledging their friendship, neither Alcaraz nor Gimenez confirmed any romantic involvement.

During the US Open in August, Alcaraz was asked directly about his relationship status. He confirmed, “I am looking for someone,” but insisted that he remains single. As his career progresses, his focus remains firmly on tennis, with his off-court remarks adding a touch of humor to his rising profile.
