Nadal inflames the crowd in New York

Rafael Nadal is back to his stellar levels at the Flushing Meadows to inspire the crowd once again.

Rafa defeated a dangerous Kuznetsov 6-1 6-4 6-2 after he won an incredible point in the very last game of the match when the Spanish sensation executed a fantastic tweener.

After the match, Rafa shared his happiness

“I am excited to play the US Open. For me, it’s great news that I am on the tour again and that I am playing every day with less pain on the wrist. That’s the most important thing.”



 

Next vs. Pouille

Rafa will play the rising star Lucas Pouille in the 3rd round. The head to head is 1-0 for Rafa that has demolished Lucas 6-2 6-1 last year in Monte-Carlo. This should be more difficult for the Spaniard.
