Roger Federer is about to play his 12th final in Wimbledon to bid for his 21st major on Sunday against Novak Djokovic.
At 38 years of age and after so much success, the Swiss sensation has been in this position many times, and he is fully aware of what he is going to expect. However, Roger is well known for feeling very emotional after the finals. Even if that happened back in 2009, it is still quite vivid in the mind of the tennis fans the images of Federer bursting into tears after losing the final at the Australian Open against Rafael Nadal. Federer getting emotional seeing his children in Wimbledon
The world no.3 has recently stated that he doesn’t want his children to attend his matches at the later stages of the tournaments because of the plausible arising tension among his team. However, his kids often appear after his matches. This is what happened back in 2017 after Federer defeated Marin Cilic in the Wimbledon final as Roger burst into tears soon after his kids were brought to Centre Court.
Later, Roger admitted that he got emotional because being on the Wimbledon’s Centre Court after winning the title and seeing his children there was like a dream.
