Bernard Tomic is not known for being well-mannered, but today he went to an all new level.
What happened?
The Australian was playing against world No. 72 Damir Dzumhur; during the first set, Tomic was upset with a spectator to slash a disgusting comment “Suck my balls. I will put my balls in your mouth. I will give you some money to make you feel good.”
The spectator was then told to leave the court.

The Apology
Tomic ended losing the match 6-4 6-3 4-6 7-6 (0); eventually, he apologized as follows
“He was just baiting me a bit. You know, I don’t want to get into it. I apologized for what I said to him.
I think after he left the first set, I think the crowd got happy he left because he was a bit annoying.”

“It’s not good that the crowd gets so excited”
Then Tomic added “I watched a little bit today of Tipsarevic also and Querrey. There were some similar situations with the crowd yelling and people talking in between points. Big points, I should say.
It was maybe not good that the crowd got too excited or sometimes speaking in the points, it’s not fair.”
Does Tomic deserve a big fine for his behavious?
