Emma Raducanu has once again parted ways with her coach, Nick Cavaday, ahead of her participation in the Singapore Tennis Open. The split comes after Cavaday decided to step away from coaching to focus on his health and family. Raducanu, who has had a series of coaching changes over the years, is now preparing for the tournament without a coach by her side.
The British tennis star, who made a remarkable comeback last year after suffering injuries in 2023, is currently ranked No. 61 in the world. Despite the coaching change, Raducanu remains determined to perform well in Singapore, where she is seeded sixth. She will face Cristina Bucsa in the first round, a player ranked outside the top 100 in singles but No. 21 in doubles.
Raducanu’s journey has been marked by resilience and determination, and she continues to strive for success on the WTA Tour. As she heads into the Singapore Tennis Open, all eyes will be on her to see how she fares without her long-time coach by her side.
