Good news for the tennis fans in New Haven as 2 of the most exciting tennis players on tour will participate in the upcoming tournament in Connecticut.
The organization has just made it official that Agnieszka Radwanska and Genie Bouchard have been awarded two wildcards.

Connecticut Open tournament director Anne Worcester commented
“In other years it has been much more of a detrimental, this year it probably helped our field. All the player agents began telling me in Miami that they predicted that many of the top 50 players are going to want to play New Haven which turned out to be true.”
The defending champion is Petra Kvitova that last year as defeated Lucia Safarova in the final.
