A lot of the female superheroes have cool cutouts on their outfits, so that’s what I wanted to do,” she said.

However, Gauff admitted that it wasn’t without its challenges. “It is a bodysuit, so I have to put the bottom part on first and pull it over my head, so it’s kind of a struggle. And if you can’t hold your bladder, it’s also not a good idea, but you have to sacrifice for fashion!” she joked with the crowd.
Despite the difficulties, Gauff’s dedication to her unique style paid off. She successfully navigated her first-round match against Sofia Kenin, winning 6-3, 6-3. Gauff’s superhero-inspired outfit not only showcased her personal style but also added an extra layer of excitement to the tournament.
Gauff’s choice of footwear also had a personal touch. Her shoes were inspired by basketball shoes, a nod to her father’s wish for her to play basketball instead of tennis. “My shoes are inspired by basketball shoes, because that’s the sport my dad wanted me to play, but I’m glad I chose tennis,” she said.
