Djokovic Talks In Interview

Before his deportation from the country due to the COVID-19 vaccine controversy, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic made a shocking revelation ahead of the Australian Open. He revealed that he was served food that “poisoned” him during his brief and challenging stay in Melbourne in 2022.

Djokovic talked about it and said: “I had a paper with like a hundred items: toothbrush, toothpaste, water, food, whatever. And I had to choose, tick certain boxes, and each of these items carried a certain amount of points, and I had 60 points in total of what I was allowed to receive. So I did that 59 or 60 points, and I gave it to them. Twenty minutes later I came back and they said, We made a mistake; you don’t have 60; you have 30. So I was like, You must be kidding me.”

He further said: “When I got home, I had some health issues. And I realized that in that hotel in Melbourne, I was fed with some food that poisoned me. Well, I had some discoveries when I came back to Serbia. I never told this to anybody publicly, but I discovered that I had a really high level of heavy metal. Heavy metal. I had a very high level of lead and mercury. That’s the only way. It was like the flu, just a simple flu. But when it was days after that, a simple flu took me down so much that I had an emergency medical team treat me at home. I had that several times, and then I had to do toxicology [tests].”

Fans were shocked by Djokovic’s revelations that he was poisoned in Australia. One fan wrote on X: “I am so disappointed that this legend, after all he has achieved, has decided to focus on this ‘injustice.’ We all have trauma to deal with, and we go on with managing our trauma quietly and learning from it. Not very inspiring.”

Another weighed in: “OMG.”

One fan commented: “They fucked with him, and it backfired. Everything was done to stop him from getting ahead in the slam count, and he still came out on top.”
