What a day!
Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez win the gold medal in Rio de Janeiro after a tough 3 set battle against Romania’s Florin Mergea and Horia Tecau. Things got nasty for the Spanish team after the Romanians broke Lopez in the 7th game of the decider. Eventually, Rafa and Marc managed to win the following 3 games to conquer the gold medal. The final score was 6-2 3-6 6-4.
Fantastic stuff. Just fantastic.
