Juan Martin Del Potro is having a rather adventurous experience in Rio. The Argentine produced a surprising upset in Rio when he defeated Novak Djokovic in the first round. That wasn’t the only headline of the day as in that morning he was stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes at the Olympic Village before being rescued by the Argentine handball team.

What happened next?

In the second round match against the Portuguese Joao Sousa, Delpo had to witness another weird episode as the match was briefly suspended after some Argentinian fans were fighting (hard) against Brazilians. Eventually, Del Potro won the match 6-3 1-6 6-3.
