Serena Williams has no problems in reaching the 3rd round in Rio. Serena had a couple of awkward moments in the first set. First, she had to save two set points when she was 4-5 15-40 down; then Serena was broken at love when she was serving for the first set . Eventually, the American won the breaker at 5 to sail in the second set. The final score was 7-6 (5) 6-2.
Next vs. Svitolina
Serena will play Svitolina in the next round. The head to head is 4-0 for the world no.1 that is aware of the challenge “It’ll be fun for me [playing Svitolina]. Elina is such a great person; she’s really young and does really well. We’ve had some really tough matches too, but it’ll be a good match.
