Emma Raducanu has expressed her growing concern over doping risks following recent cases involving Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek. The British star admitted to being highly cautious about what she consumes, reflecting on how easily supplements or food could be contaminated.

Raducanu emphasized the financial challenges of ensuring safety, revealing the high costs of batch-testing supplements. “To batch test something is £1,000 for one little thing,” she explained, noting that she avoids over-the-counter supplements unless they are essential.

Citing the recent cases, Raducanu shared her wariness about contamination. Sinner’s positive test was linked to a banned spray used by his ex-physio, while Swiatek unknowingly consumed contaminated melatonin. Both were cleared of fault by the ITIA, yet their experiences have heightened vigilance among players like Raducanu.
