The Brisbane International 2025 is set to be one of the most exciting tournaments of the year, featuring a stellar lineup of top tennis players. The tournament, which will take place from December 29, 2024, to January 5, 2025, at the Pat Rafter Arena, will serve as a perfect warm-up for the Australian Open.
Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly the star of the show. The 37-year-old Serbian, who is aiming for his 11th Australian Open title and a record 25th Grand Slam crown, will be making his first appearance at the Brisbane International since its inaugural year in 2009. Djokovic, currently ranked seventh in the world, is also chasing his 100th career title, a milestone only achieved by Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer.
Defending champion Grigor Dimitrov will be looking to repeat his success from last year. The Bulgarian, currently ranked 10th, has been in excellent form and will be a strong contender for the title.
Holger Rune and Frances Tiafoe are also set to compete, bringing their own unique styles and strengths to the tournament. Rune, ranked 13th, has shown great promise and consistency, while Tiafoe, ranked 18th, is known for his powerful game and athleticism.

Ranked world no.18, Tiafoe played his last match on the 29th of October when he capitulated to world no.31 Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 6-7(5) 7-6(4) 6-3 in the 1st round in Paris (draw).
