Novak Djokovic has shed light on his decision to hire Andy Murray as his coach, calling it a strategic move. The world No. 1 explained that he wanted someone who could relate to his experiences and challenges on the court.
“I realized the perfect coach for me at this point would be someone that has been through experiences that I’m going through, possibly a multiple Grand Slam winner, former No. 1, and Andy Murray appeared on the table,” Djokovic shared.
