What about regrading?

Some players may feel that their ranking is unfair and should be ranked higher. In that case, there is the option of regrading.

To get a regrading session with a coach on Playtomic, follow these steps:

  • Find a Certified Club: Reach out to your local Playtomic certified club to see if they offer leveling sessions with coaches.
  • Use the Playtomic App: Open the Playtomic app and navigate to “Competitions” > “Tournaments”. Look for activities labeled “Playtomic leveling” to find and apply for available sessions.
  • Book a Session: Once you find a session, apply through the app and book your spot. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.

A coach will assess your level on the court based on your play, technique, and game knowledge. This helps ensure you’re matched with players of similar skill and improves your overall experience.

Why regrading may not be a good idea

The problem of regrading is that in order to keep a good relationship, coaches tend to give an unrealistic higher grade. Eventually, this will inevitably end up with the player going back to the original ranking.
