The nominees for the 2024 ATP Awards have been announced, highlighting excellence across four player-voted categories and Coach of the Year.
Dominic Thiem, recently retired and a former World No. 3, is nominated for the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Grigor Dimitrov, and Casper Ruud. This prestigious honor has seen past wins by Alcaraz (2023) and Ruud (2022).
For Most Improved Player of the Year, Jack Draper and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard lead the nominations, with their respective coaches, James Trotman and Emmanuel Planque, also in contention for Coach of the Year. The coaching category further features Xavier Malisse (Alexei Popyrin), Michael Russell (Taylor Fritz), and Brad Stine (Tommy Paul).
Jakub Mensik and Juncheng Shang, both 19-year-olds who broke into the Top 100 this year, are vying for Newcomer of the Year. Meanwhile, Matteo Berrettini, Marin Cilic, and Kei Nishikori are nominated for Comeback Player of the Year.
The ATP Awards, including the Fans’ Favourite, will be unveiled starting 9 December, with fan voting open until 27 November.
