Before meeting David, Wozniacki was engaged to golfer Rory Mcllroy. After a long affair starting in 2011, they got engaged in 2014 but soon broke off over a phone call lasting 3 minutes. At that time Wozniacki was ‘devastated’ but came out of it and thought that it was good that it was over. She had told the OK magazine:

“I think I’m just a different person. Obviously, it was hard at the time, but it was a great experience to go through and come out the other end of, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

Mcllroy too termed the decision to break off from the Danish tennis star because it led him to “’a good place” and  “where there is ‘no bull****, no acting, no show.”

Wozniacki is also rumoured to have dated J.J Watt in 2015.

So after all this, she is going consistent with her new husband Lee and was married in an emotional ceremony lasting 4 days. The Danish star thought that everything about the wedding was great but it was food and drink which was the best part of the wedding.

Wozniacki says: “Obviously saying ‘I Do’ was very special, but I actually think that whole day and the food was incredible, we partied all the way until four in the morning which was perfect. We had a candy room, because I love sweets, and on the dance floor, we had fries and candy and burgers and stuff coming out. So I think the food was also a big highlight for us.”

The 28-year-old was wearing a custom gown by Oscar de la Renta. When asked if the selection of the wedding dress was a tough choice, she said: “No, actually it was a pretty simple process. I had my stylist and we went out and she got all the white dresses together, because I was like, I want kind of a white theme throughout the week.’

Serena Williams acted as a bridesmaid to Wozniacki and the Danish star was all praise for the American: “She is amazing, she is so funny and kind, and we really have a great time. She was amazing as a bridesmaid and really helped with my veil and made sure all the pictures looked great, so she was perfect.”

As Wimbledon is in full swing, the newlyweds could only enjoy a mini-moon. “That was kind of the tough part, but we had a little mini-moon, we went on a boat for a couple of days, which was kind of a nice calm down from the wedding, it is definitely different from going on a long honeymoon and enjoying it but we will save that for a later date.”
