Chinese tennis player Zheng Qinwen has joined Audi as a brand ambassador in China after the German luxury car manufacturer revealed in a teaser trailer that a woman who won a gold medal at Roland-Garros Stadium would serve as its spokesperson.

With a voiceover by a woman who sounds like Zheng, the video, which was posted on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo on November 7, also announced that the company’s new brand ambassador will make an appearance at the booth at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition this Friday.

The same day, Germany’s Volkswagen’s luxury brand unveiled a new electric car line designed exclusively for China. The concept car featured the name Audi on the body instead of the company’s iconic four-ring emblem, as the automaker hopes to attract younger Chinese customers.

As a brand ambassador, Zheng was recently spotted standing next to an Audi vehicle, and it appeared that she was booming in her new position.
