Sinner talks about the playing conditions in ATP Finals

Jannik Sinner has shared his thoughts on the ATP Finals conditions after a pre-tournament practice. While other players, such as Andrey Rublev, arrived in Italy later, Sinner had the opportunity to train on center court early.

Sinner Talks About The Conditions

Following a pre-tournament practice, Jannik Sinner has provided his assessment of the ATP Finals conditions. Sinner had the chance to train early on centre court while other players, like Andrey Rublev, arrived late in Italy.

Additionally, Carlos Alcaraz will listen to his remarks given that the Spaniard had a difficult time at the most recent Paris Masters.

One of the favourites in these ATP Finals, the world No. 1 player noted that the court was different this season than it was the previous one. In Paris, Alcaraz had trouble with the fast conditions and didn’t have the best record on indoor hard courts. In Turin, however, it appears that he won’t have to worry.

At the Paris Masters last week, Alcaraz expressed his displeasure with the fast court speed after winning his opening match. And following his elimination in the round of 16, he doubled down.

Sinner talked about the conditions and said: “After doing my first training sessions, I have the feeling that the court is a little slower than last year. I’ve still got a few days to prepare myself as well as possible for my first match. Starting with a win is very important.”

Sinner hopes to raise the trophy in front of his home crowd after placing second in the previous year’s competition.
