Sophia Thomalla, Alexander Zverev’s girlfriend, showed her love and respect for the German by encouraging him during his victory at the 2024 Paris Masters. Thomalla also humorously expressed how she felt about the celebratory dinner Zverev bought her after he won.
At the season’s last Masters 1000 event, Zverev put on a good run, defeating Holger Rune, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Arthur Fils to set up a thrilling title matchup with home favourite Ugo Humbert. In an hour and fifteen minutes, the German won 6-2, 6-2, dominating the final.
With his victory, the 27-year-old fulfilled a number of goals: he won his seventh ATP Masters 1000 title, surpassed Carlos Alcaraz to become the new World No. 2, and recorded his tour-leading 66th victory of the season.
Thomalla was in attendance at the final, eagerly supporting the German and sharing on social media how happy she was for him. Thomalla later posed with the trophy alongside his family and coaching staff, joining Zverev on the court.
Later, as the German travelled to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Sophia Thomalla gave the 27-year-old a sneak peek at her snack, joking that her romantic dinner in Paris was a doughnut and lemonade.
She posted on her Instagram story: “Finally. The romantic dinner in Paris I was hoping for @alexzverev123.”
